Instructions:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface and roll the window down slightly to access the beltline area.
- If present, remove any trim pieces, weatherstrip, or rubber channel that cover the molding using a trim tool or screwdriver; label or set aside fasteners.
- Carefully pry off the old molding, working along its length to release clips or fasteners; remove any remaining clips or adhesive residue.
- Clean the mounting surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol and a clean cloth; remove rust, debris, or old sealant to ensure proper seating.
- Test-fit the new molding along the beltline to confirm alignment with mounting holes and panel gaps; use masking tape to hold it temporarily if needed.
- Install new clips or fasteners where required, align the molding to factory mounting points, and press firmly along its length until all clips engage.
- Reinstall any weatherstrips or trim pieces removed earlier and check the window operation and gaps for proper fit.
- If adhesive or sealant was used, allow recommended cure time before exposing the area to water or driving.
