Vintage '65 Vette convertible goes on the block
By Claudio D'Andrea
This little red Corvette, recently restored and showcased on motorius.com, balances "collectible appeal with enjoyable driving characteristics."
Johnny Puckett's post of the 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible classic on March 13, 2026 explains the car is grabbing eyeballs of collectors and enthusiasts "thanks to its rare engine configuration and carefully preserved mid-year styling."
With its Rally Red exterior and black interior and white soft top, Puckett says the car stands for the most recognizable designs of Corvette's second generation.
The model he writes about has a L76 327 cubic-inch V8 engine, with a 365 horsepower rating. The car was restored over the years and kept its excellent condition.
The Corvette has 39,551 miles, Puckett wrote. "On the road, the combination of the high-output small-block engine and manual transmission provides the engaging driving feel that enthusiasts associate with vintage Corvette models."
The car was on the market with an asking price of $109,000 U.S.
