This 4-piece windshield weatherstrip seal kit is designed for 1956–1962 Chevrolet Corvette vehicles and restores a watertight, secure seal around the windshield opening. The kit replaces aged, cracked or hardened rubber to prevent water intrusion and wind noise while properly aligning and supporting the windshield trim. Made from a durable rubber compound engineered for weather and UV resistance, the seals provide long-lasting reliability and a near-OEM fit for restoration or maintenance projects. Simple to install with basic tools, this kit helps preserve interior finishes and maintain correct windshield positioning.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface and protect surrounding trim and paint with masking tape or rags.
- Carefully remove windshield trim (if applicable) and extract the old weatherstrip pieces using a trim tool and screwdrivers — avoid gouging the metal channel.
- Clean the seal channel thoroughly using a rag and isopropyl alcohol or mild cleaner to remove old adhesive, dirt and residue; ensure the area is dry.
- Dry-fit each new seal piece (one at a time) to confirm orientation and fit. Trim any excess material if necessary for a precise fit.
- If recommended, apply a thin bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the channel or to the seal flange following the adhesive manufacturer’s instructions.
- Lubricate the seal lip with soapy water or silicone spray to ease installation, then press the seal into the channel starting at one corner and working around the opening.
- Use a rubber roller or block of wood to firmly seat the seal into the channel and ensure full engagement along the entire perimeter.
- Reinstall windshield trim and any fasteners. Wipe away any excess adhesive immediately with a suitable solvent.
- Allow adhesive to cure per the adhesive manufacturer's recommended cure time before driving or exposing to moisture.
- Inspect the seal for even compression and test for leaks with a gentle water spray; readjust or re-seat as needed.
