Instructions:
- Prepare the vehicle: park on level ground, lower the window, and disconnect the negative battery terminal if desired for safety.
- Remove interior door panel or access cover to reach the mirror mounting area following vehicle-specific procedures; use trim tool to avoid damage.
- Disconnect any electrical connector if the existing mirror is powered or has a defroster; remove retaining nuts/bolts securing the old mirror and carefully pull the mirror away from the door.
- Clean the mounting area of old gasket material and dirt using a rag and rubbing alcohol; test-fit the new mirror and mounting kit components.
- Position new gasket or foam seal (if provided) on the door, align the mirror, and insert mounting studs through the holes. Use the supplied hardware to loosely fasten the mirror from the inside.
