Direct-fit fuel tank for 1975–1977 Chevrolet Corvette engineered to replace corroded, damaged, or leaking original tanks during restoration or maintenance. The tank stores and supplies fuel safely while preserving correct fuel capacity and mounting geometry. Built for durability with heavy-gauge construction and a corrosion-resistant finish, this unit is supplied without a bladder so you can install an aftermarket or OEM-style bladder and sender to suit your build. Instructions:
  1. Relieve fuel system pressure and disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Safely raise vehicle and support with jack stands on a level surface.
  3. Drain remaining fuel from the tank into an approved container and catch any spills with a drain pan.
  4. Disconnect fuel lines, vent hoses, electrical connections to the sender, and any filler neck or strap hardware.
  5. Support the fuel tank with a jack or transmission jack and remove the mounting strap bolts or retaining hardware.
  6. Lower the old tank carefully and remove it from under the vehicle.
  7. Inspect and, if needed, replace mounting straps, filler neck hose, vent lines, and tank-to-sender seal.
  8. If using a bladder or transferring the sender, install them into the new tank following manufacturer instructions (not included).
  9. Raise the new tank into position and loosely install mounting straps and bolts to align tank correctly.
  10. Torque mounting hardware to factory specifications, reconnect fuel lines, vent hoses, and electrical connections.
  11. Lower the vehicle, refill the tank partially with fuel, reconnect the battery, and check all connections for leaks.
  12. Start engine and inspect for leaks while monitoring fuel system operation; retorque fittings if required.
