1967-1969 Chevrolet Corvette 3x2 carburetor-to-intake mount stud and nut set designed to restore correct carburetor alignment and secure the triple 2-barrel carburetor assembly to the intake manifold. Precision-threaded studs and matched nuts provide reliable fastening, reduce the risk of air leaks, and maintain proper spacing for throttle linkage and gaskets. Built for durability and easy installation, this hardware set is ideal for restorations, rebuilds, or routine maintenance where original fit and secure mounting are required.
Features:
  • Fits 1967-1969 Chevrolet Corvette 3x2 (three 2-barrel) carburetor applications.
  • Bolt Placement - left rear mounting position on front and center carb.  All other positions are studs with nuts.
  • Precision-threaded studs and matching nuts ensure correct alignment and secure mounting of the carburetor assembly.
  • High-strength, corrosion-resistant hardware reduces rust and long-term degradation.
  • Prevents air leaks and maintains proper spacing for gaskets, spacers, and throttle linkage.
  • Simple swap-in replacement for worn or damaged intake stud hardware; ideal for restorations and maintenance.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 15-30 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Socket set or wrench set
  • Torque wrench (recommended)
  • Thread chaser or tap (optional)
  • Anti-seize compound or medium-strength threadlocker (optional)
  • Screwdriver or small pry tool (for removing gaskets/spacers)
Instructions:
  1. Park engine on a level surface, disconnect battery negative, and allow engine to cool.
  2. Remove air cleaner assembly and any components blocking carburetor access (linkages, vacuum hoses).
  3. Label and disconnect throttle and choke linkages, vacuum lines, and electrical connectors as needed.
  4. Remove the carburetor assembly and spacers/manifolds to expose existing studs.
  5. Remove old studs and nuts. If studs are seized, use penetrating oil and careful heat if necessary; avoid damaging intake threads.
  6. Inspect and clean intake threads. Use a thread chaser/tap if threads are dirty or slightly corroded.
  7. Apply a small amount of anti-seize or the recommended thread treatment to the new studs (do not over-apply).
  8. Hand-start each stud into the intake to ensure proper threading, then tighten gently with a socket or nut until seated. Do not over-torque; consult factory torque specs if available.
  9. Reposition spacer(s) and carburetor(s) onto the studs, then thread the supplied nuts on top. Tighten nuts evenly in a crisscross pattern to seat gaskets and maintain alignment.
  10. Reconnect throttle linkage, choke, vacuum lines, and electrical connectors. Reinstall air cleaner and any removed components.
  11. Reconnect battery, start the engine, and check for vacuum leaks and proper throttle operation. Re-torque hardware after a short break-in run if desired.
