Direct-fit replacement relay for Chevrolet Corvette power windows and early anti-theft alarm circuits. Designed to restore reliable operation to classic Corvettes, this compact relay replicates OEM switching function to control window motors and early alarm systems, improving electrical consistency and vehicle security. Built for durability and straightforward installation, it’s an essential component when refurbishing or maintaining 1960s–1980s Corvette electrical systems.
Features:
  • Fits 1967–1982 Chevrolet Corvette for power window applications and 1968–1977 Corvettes requiring the early anti-theft alarm relay.
  • Direct-replacement electrical relay that restores OEM switching for power window motors and early alarm circuits.
  • Durable construction with robust contacts for consistent conductivity and long service life.
  • Simple plug-and-play design for straightforward swap-in replacement without cutting or splicing.
  • Ideal for restoration projects and routine maintenance to eliminate intermittent operation or electrical faults.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 15–30 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • 10mm socket or wrench
  • Phillips and flathead screwdrivers
  • Needle-nose pliers
  • Multimeter or test light
  • Dielectric grease (optional)
Instructions:
  1. Park vehicle on a level surface, set parking brake, and disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent shorts.
  2. Locate the relay panel or relay mounting area (commonly under the dash, behind the glove box, or in the relay/fuse panel depending on model year).
  3. Remove any trim or access panels to reach the relay. Keep screws and fasteners in a safe place.
  4. Identify the faulty relay and note its orientation and connector pin layout. Compare the old relay to the replacement to confirm match.
  5. Carefully unplug the wiring connector from the old relay. If stuck, gently depress the release tab and pull straight out.
  6. Remove the old relay and insert the replacement relay in the correct orientation. Apply a small amount of dielectric grease to terminals if desired.
  7. Reconnect the wiring connector, reassemble access panels, and reconnect the negative battery terminal.
  8. Test the power windows for smooth operation and verify alarm-related circuits (if applicable) to confirm correct installation.
  9. Reinstall any remaining trim and double-check that all fasteners are secure.
