This direct-fit inner left beltline molding restores the finished edge between the door glass and body on 1990–1996 Chevrolet Corvette (C4). It secures the window channel and trim, helps seal out water and wind, reduces road noise, and returns a factory appearance. Built for durability and ease of replacement, it’s an ideal part for routine maintenance or full restoration projects.
Features:
- Fits 1990–1996 Chevrolet Corvette (C4) — inner left (driver side) beltline molding.
- Injection-molded thermoplastic for UV and weather resistance.
- Secures trim and window channel while preventing water intrusion and wind noise.
- Direct-replacement design for factory fit and alignment.
- Snap-on installation with existing clips; no custom fabrication required.
- Restores exterior appearance and helps preserve interior components from moisture damage.
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 30-60 minutes
Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, lower the window (if applicable) to give access to the beltline area.
- Protect painted surfaces with masking tape around the work area to avoid scratches.
- Remove any interior door trim or weatherseal components that block access to the beltline molding, using a trim tool or screwdriver as needed.
- Carefully pry out the old beltline molding: locate and disengage any retaining clips or screws, then work along the length to free it without bending the window or body.
- Clean the mounting channel and surrounding surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to remove dirt, adhesive residue, and oils.
- Test-fit the new molding to ensure proper orientation and alignment with mounting holes or clip locations.
- Starting at one end, press the new molding into place, engaging clips or tabs evenly along its length. If screws are used, reinstall and torque to light snugness.
- Reinstall any removed trim or weatherseal components and raise/lower the window to confirm smooth operation and fit.
- Inspect the seam for gaps and verify the molding is flush and secure. Wipe down the area to remove fingerprints or residue.
