This is the correct rubber grommet for all 1953-1967 C1 and C2 Corvette dimmer switches. The under-carpet flange measures 2 ¾.” The grommet is designed to fit through a hole cut in the carpet. The ID is 1” to clear the dimmer switch shaft.
