Instructions:
- Ensure the engine is cool before touching the cooling system — never open the reservoir cap while hot.

- Clean the cap and filler neck with a cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol or mild cleaner; allow to dry completely.
- Position the cap cover over the reservoir cap, aligning any locating tabs or recesses so the cover seats evenly.
- Press the cover down firmly until it snaps or seats into place. If your cover includes a retaining screw or clamp, secure it now but do not overtighten — snug is sufficient.
- Verify that the reservoir cap and cover are seated correctly and that the cover does not interfere with cap removal for future service.
