Ever dream of rebuilding a classic Vette? How about rescuing and restoring six of them? And then auctioning them all off?

Dennis Collins, whose Coffee Walk episodes air every Friday on his YouTube channel, worked with his ace mechanic on the six Vettes and brought them to auction through Bring a Trailer in late May. The cars range from 1958 to '89 models and two of them were, as Collins put it, "extremely rare."

What started as a get-the-lead-out job turned into a two decades full-scale restoration of a Corvette Stingray for Albie Carr.

The 76-year-old classic car enthusiast, featured in the UK's Daily Express in early May, purchased his 1963 silver Stingray at Corvette Kingdom in 1983.
