Granatelli mass airflow sensors are fully calibrated at the factory resulting in significant improvements to stock air intake systems. Most modified air intake systems, also known as cold air intakes, cause an increase in air turbulence. This effect requires a special calibration. Granatelli Motor Sports offers this special calibration design for cold air kits. It is critical that the MAF sensor is properly calibrated for cold-air tuning, or a check engine light may occur.
