If you work on your own Corvette (1953 through 1982) your rivet setting delimma is over once you buy this Aero Rivet-II Tool. It allows for the precise setting of steel, aluminum and brass tubular and semi-tubular rivets on classic Corvettes, such as those used on air vent doors, rebound straps, window channels, vent windows, heater boxes and ignition shielding ground straps, without damaging the material being riveted. Enhanced tool functionality provides for setting rivets from either end of the tool and the ability to set small (3/16" dia. or less) solid aluminum rivets. The tool is CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and used high-grade 4140 hardened steel components for greater durability and longer tool life.
Its overall size is 4"x3.5 with 2" wide by 2.5" deep throat opening and comes with four interchangeable drive bolt tips.
