Whenever the turn signal and park lamp on your C5 is inoperative, if it's not a burned-out bulb, chances are better than 90% it's a burned-out socket. Usually thereason this happens is because the space for this bulb in the housing is very small and the heat generated by it is extremely high. Many times the heat will cause the housing to split above the bulb and then water intrusion occurs.
