LEDs pull very little current. This is of no concern in most applications; however, vehicles that will not operate normally with a blown bulb or LED bulbs will require a pair of load equalizers for normal operation. No vehicle modifications are required.
Test all vehicle systems first to determine if you need load equalizers. If any fail to operate, verify that there is a good connection in the socket and the fuse is not blown. Test all your vehicle systems and functions to verify everything still works correctly. If anything does not work correctly, or if you get any indicator lights, or if LEDs burn dim even when the bulbs are supposed to be off, then you will need a pair of load equalizers.
